The band had 4 solos and 7 ensembles qualify for the UIL State Solo and Ensemble on May 24. A total of 31 students will be going to San Marcos in May for this contest. It shows great dedication and commitment for these students to have spent countless hours preparing these solos and ensembles. By preparing a solo or ensemble, students improve on their playing ability. This preparation will help make the band better. If the Superior Rating has an *, then they qualified by memorizing their solo or ensembles making a superior rating.
